We have now completed the second semi-annual, post-General Conference, Jeopardy tournament, and I think it is officially a family tradition.
This year, we even had a trophy for the winner. A couple nights before the event, my wife suggested I make an Angel Moroni statue out of foil (the guy on top of the Mormon temples) to give to the winning team.
BRILLIANT!
So I went to work. Now, I'm not an artist, so the end result only vaguely looks like an amorphous humanoid ... thingy. The only defining feature is the trumpet. Thankfully, my family isn't too picky.

Ha ha ha! That is awesome! Nathan I think should quit doing PR and persue a career in artistic tin foil creations. Sounds like it was a lot of fun!

that is awesome!! you really did an awesome job! i am impressed with your foil sculpting abilities. do i feel a 'how to' post coming on?
don't want to rain on your parade, but you can go to deseret book and buy and actual trophy sized moroni and then go to d.i. and get a basketball trophy and swap out the moroni for the basketball player and then go to the engraver's and get a little thingy engraved for the trophy. and it turns out awesome!
but, the tin foil one takes a lot less running around!
